The role:
AMP Capital Shopping Centres is a specialised team of experts, combining world-class experience and specialist capabilities in the management of some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s most successful and high-performing retail centres.
The role of Operations Manager represents a leadership position within the Centre Management team that supports the Centre Manager deliver the Business Plan objectives of the asset.The primary areas of focus are to uphold operational safety, performance and compliance.Statutory and legal obligations pursuant to the delivery of the role must be observed and where required, appropriate training and procedures implemented.
The Operations Manager must at all times diligently pursue best practice environmental health and safety, maintenance standards, strategic planning, programming and budgeting, environmental and sustainable performance and sound management practices. Management obligations of this role include but are not limited to; procurement, minor capital works projects, tenancy delivery and stakeholder engagement.The Operations Manager is required to exercise judgement, set priorities and schedule work to meet deadlines.
The person:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline
- 3-5 years Experience as a Facilities or Operations Manager in the property space desirable
- Business-oriented and cost conscious
- People oriented and effective leadership experience
- Retail or Shopping Centre Background desirable
