Our client is one of the leading private property investment companies in Australasia, specialising in commercial property across New Zealand and Australia.
Based in Central Auckland they are a small but very experienced and highly regarded team. The portfolio includes some very significant commercial properties, which are primarily retail based.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a junior to intermediate Commercial Property Manager role in which you will be expected to take a hands-on approach in managing the property within the Group by interacting with tenants, clients, contractors and suppliers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Management and oversight of all:
- Office, retail and industrial properties within the Group
- Tenant relationships
- Tenancy and car park schedules
- Rent reviews and rent arrears
- Vacancy absorption
- Liaising with real estate agencies
- Ad hoc property administration
Additional duties, depending on experience may include lease negotiation, marketing management, developments/ fit-out/project management supervision.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Ideally 2-4 years’ experience working in the property sector
- Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written
- Team player with strong stakeholder management skills - internal and external
- Excellent administration, organisational and time management skills
- Self-managing, able to work unsupervised and as part of a small team
- Computer literate, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
- An advantage would be knowledge of GoFMX (facilities management software) and Nomos One (lease management software) but is not essential as full training can be given.
