We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced lawyer with 5+ years experience to provide general advice on a variety of legal and governance matters, with a strong focus on compliance.
  
You will work closely with other team members and overseas colleagues to ensure internal and external compliance obligations are met.  In addition, there is the requirement to manage various communications with relevant judicial bodies.

Specifically (but not limited to), you will:

• draft and revise company policies;
• drive audit processes to identify and manage risk;
• evaluate business activities in relation to compliance;
• educate and train other team members regarding regulations and industry practices;
• ensure all employment legislation matters are handled in keeping with best practice.

You will be a pragmatic and innovative thinker, able to create effective legal frameworks around the day-to-day issues which arise.
