We are a General Practice Law Firm located in Grafton Auckland.

We  seek a  person who is able to work Part time, or who wants to work a shorter day to fit around school drop off and pick up times etc and who is:

* Able to deal confidently and professionally with clients and other professionals and third parties.

* Has fast and accurate typing skills.

*Experience and  knowledge of preparation of various  legal documents, in different fields of Law, particularly property, civil matters, trusts and Wills and family law.

* Be able to access Landonline and preferably be already doing this in a current role or have done this in a past role.

* Knowledge of Lexis Nexis Affinity legal software desirable.

* Able to prioritise work

* Willing not to be confined just to secretarial duties, as some general office administration duties are required for this position, including making files, making appointments, assisting clients and receipting.

* Able to relieve our receptionist and to do the Banking when required or work full time when required while other staff are on leave

* able to maintain our deeds and safe custody records in  reliable manner.

* able to work at a minimum of at least 15  hours per week

* Friendly and helpful personality that will fit in with a close knit team.

*Previous work and character references, as well as a clear police record is required to be provided with all applications.

* Staff enjoy carpark privileges in a city fringe area that has recently become populated with  new cafes and is close to a number of gyms and has easy motorway access and a train station within walking distance.

*Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
