Our client has established itself as the premier Credit Insurance Broker in both New Zealand and Australia with offices in Auckland's CBD and Wellington as well all major capital cities in Australia and in Singapore.

They are a well-established specialised insurance provider offering services that protect the profitability of their clients and have developed a complete range of trade credit services, tailored to suit all types and sizes of business, from credit insurance, premium funding, credit risk management and debt collection services. Their expert advice can provide a wealth of knowledge on insuring against a potential bad debt.

On their behalf we are seeking an enthusiastic, highly responsive Sale Executive to join their Auckland based team and continue to develop business with clients in the Auckland region.

Competencies require:

  • Confident in developing new business
  • Strong prospecting skills. Able to generate leads by phone base cold calling
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Good follow and client service – relationship builder
  • Experience in managing an effective sales pipeline
  • Enthusiastic to continue to learn a technical product and develop skill base
  • Strong networking skills. Maintain relationships with underwriters.
  • Understanding of insurance products would be beneficial.
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong administration / documentation / reporting skills
  • Focused on achieving targets and budgets
  • A leave no stone unturned attitude.
  • Able to work hard but also enjoy a laugh along the way

My client is prepared to reward the right person with a good base salary and uncapped commission structure and a company vehicle or car allowance.

We are keen to attract someone who will share their vision and will be effective in developing new business by proactively seeking out new clients and providing professional advice and effective solutions to manage and protect client's credit risk.

While insurance experience is welcomed it is certainly not essential. Those from other industries that demonstrate strong business acumen and proven business development skills will be welcomed.
