About the role
Based from our central Christchurch office, the Domestic Insurance Broker will join the team and support our existing Broker by managing all our domestic insurance business. You will deliver exceptional service to our clients and take ownership of everything that lands on your desk.
You will work closely with other business units to ensure the internal and external customer is well looked after at the same time as meeting administrative and operational requirements.
Duties
- Respond to queries via telephone and email
- Lodge and manage claims
- Manage the domestic property business, including new and renewing policies
- Manage client credit control
- Maintain the CRM
Skills & Experience
- Minimum two years experience in a Domestic Broker Support role
- Exposure to commercial property insurance
- Experience providing outstanding customer service
- Advanced Microsoft skills and the ability to learn new system quickly
- An eye for detail
- Good organisational habits
- Excellent written word
- Experience using E-global, Ferrett, Ibais or Office Tech an advantage
