Monterey Cinemas is a small boutique cinema in the heart of Howick Village. Operating for over 5 years Monterey has firmly cemented itself in the market as the local cinema.
Situated one street behind the main shopping hub of Howick.
About the role
The role we are looking at filling is a Cinema Attendant/Trainee Manager. The role would involve working and learning the cinema attendant role including cash handling, restocking and the ever favourite of the movie audience the popcorn machine.
With scope to become a trainee manager after 6 months for the right candidate. As part of the training you will be learning projection, management of staff and private screening procedures.
We encourage our staff to watch movies and learn about the content that they are selling, this is made easier by free movies for employees!
A variety of shifts are available however you must be able to work nights, and weekends. You must be available to work school holidays and over the Christmas and New Year period. If you can not meet these requirements please do not apply

Skills and experience
Must be willing to learn, be passionate about customers, customer services and films. Barista experience a bonus.
As you will be required to hold a General Managers licence applicants must be turning 20 years old before the end of 2018. LCQ holder an advantage
