About the Position:
We require a full time Barista / Catering Assistant for our busy café. The applicant needs to be mature, honest and reliable. Able to provide friendly, efficient and attentive service to our valued customers. Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm. This is a permanent position suited to a person with a view to long term employment with opportunities to progress in a vibrant environment
Alliance Catering prides itself on the comprehensive Health and Safety environment it provides it’s staff, with on-going training the successful applicant will be in a progressive, safe and secure workplace
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Food preparation, including sandwiches
- Handling cash
- General kitchen cleaning duties
- Table setting for functions
- Barista
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- A passion for quality food and customer service
- A current food handler’s certificate
- Previous experience in food preparation
- Previous experience in a cafe environment
- Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices
- A warm, bubbly and efficient personality
- An ability to work as part of a great team
- Have excellent attention to detail
- The ability to make great coffee
