We require a full time, experienced Chef de Partie / Stores Assistant to work in our busy, fast paced culinary school based in Central Wellington.
We are looking for a person who has Chef experience and has knowledge of sourcing, ordering, receiving and storing ingredients and related items in a controlled environment. Applicants with prior kitchen management experience as well as effective time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines will be preferred. We need someone who is physically fit and self-motivated as the role requires you to periodically work unsupervised and some heavy lifting is involved.
You must have had prior kitchen experience and have a current work visa.
A culinary and food hygiene qualification is desirable.
The hours are 40 hours per week full time on rotating rosters. There will also be some Saturday work - so some flexibility is required.
