Pacific Destinations is on the hunt for an outstanding FIT Consultant to join our talented team based on the North Shore. You'll have a drive for delivering first class customer service for our agents and clients, ensuring they have an exceptional experience while they tour New Zealand and Australia.

The role is operationally focussed and you will be working with clients arriving from a range of International markets. You'll be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of quality New Zealand & Australian itineraries and tours that leave people with memories that will last a lifetime.

We pride ourselves on the service we deliver, so you will need to have the skill set to produce itineraries, quotes and documentation that is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

These are busy roles, but very rewarding at the same time – Our Consultants are the face of Pacific Destinations, so you must have excellent communications kills, be highly organised and most importantly enjoy getting the job done and a good sense of humour comes in handy.

Prior experience in an Inbound Tourism Consultant role is a must and knowledge of the Tourplan operating system would also be a great start. Oral and written Spanish, German or Italian language skills are also an advantage.

Skills you'll need:

•             An excellent communicator with loads of energy
•             A great knowledge of New Zealand (and Australia) tourism product
•             Experience in an Inbound Tour Operator Consultant role
•             Experience working in Tourplan (or a similar quoting and booking platform)
•             Great planning and organisational skills
•             Outstanding customer service skills
•             Attention to detail
•             Reliable and punctual
•             In possession of a full clean driver's license
•             Permanent New Zealand residency status

Skills that would be an advantage:
•             Oral and written Spanish or German
