Hospital Specialist Representative - Diabetes - 12 Month Contract

A fixed-term 12 month contract role has become available for a Hospital Specialist Representative to promote our diabetes portfolio to the New Zealand market. This role will be ideally based out of Auckland and require regular travel throughout New Zealand, and occasional travel to Australia.
The responsibilities of The Hospital Specialist Representative will be to:
- Promote class-leading Diabetes products to specialty care healthcare professionals, and engage key stake holders across various hospital departments
- Build long-term relationships through your genuine passion for the positive impacts these products have on patient’s health
- Work as part of a collaborative team to optimise business impact and work cross-functionally in order to achieve sales targets
- Develop and implement effective business plans, analyse sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business outcomes
- Complete administrative requirements and work within a set promotional budget accurately, and within a timely manner
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
We are looking for a dynamic, sales driven individual who is truly patient centric, and has a passion to develop their career within AstraZeneca. We are looking for individuals who are keen to be part of a successful and collaborative team to ensure successful outcomes for both patients and the business.
Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, have experience as a Hospital Specialist Representative, and have a successful track record in sales. You will have completed Medicines New Zealand Code and will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the role of the Hospital Specialist Representative.
