Are you a registered Physiotherapist who can provide professional qualified support for, advice for and clinical links within a DHB and service provision, then this could be the role for you.
This position would be ideal for someone keen to experience or start their career in hospital based physiotherapy and develop skills in a wide range of clinical areas. Physiotherapists working in a southern rural hospital provide Inpatient, outpatient and community physiotherapy to the population.
This role is growing and we need need 4 more Professionals to complete the team.......................country and city roles.
Your responsibilities are to:

Maintain professional registration and HPCAA

Develop and maintain positive and lasting relationships with key external people and organisations
-
Provide relevant information, professional support and advice to customers within a timely manner
-
Encourage and appropriately direct feedback from internal and external customers

Liaise with key internal team members/departments to develop and maintain efficient business practices
-
Attend regular Advisory meetings and Professional Advisory Team meetings

Provide support to our client in terms of recording and reporting as required

Assist in the development and implementation of effective budget management strategies

The successful candidate would need to:
- New Zealand registered physiotherapist with a current practicing certificate or soon to be eligible to apply for one.
- Be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and be responsive to the day to day changes in the hospital environment.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Be prepared to assist in support of assistants and students within the service.
- Have a current full drivers licence
Relevant Health Professional/Clinical Qualifications;
Physiotherapist with relevant Clinical experience and registration with the NZ board is necessary. These are hospital and community roles 0830 to 5pm daily.
