Are you a dynamic, flexible and supportive ‘right arm' who can think outside the box and be the centre of calm in a sometimes chaotic and frenetic environment? If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role in Healthy Families NZ, an innovative large-scale health initiative that extends across ten locations around the country - from the Far North to Invercargill.  

This is a crucial position in the national team, providing close support to the Manager, and supporting the ongoing implementation of Healthy Families NZ.  We're looking for an experienced Project Coordinator and is someone who is:

• adaptable and able to ‘dance on a shifting carpet'

• a multitasker who prides themself on staying one step ahead of the game, and anticipating the unexpected

• able to work in a proactive, positive and fast paced way, while retaining attention to detail

• have the ability to productively manage the workflow of the team.

It goes without saying that you have excellent communication skills, handle pressure well and are able to build strong relationships! This role is not for the fainthearted!  In addition, our successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

• expertise in project co-ordination and/or providing administration support

• a proven track record of anticipating what's needed and going the extra mile

• awesome communication skills - both verbal and written

• a passion for people and ability to develop strong relationships

• political nous
