The Role

Reporting directly to the Manager - Communications Services Advisory, based within a client portfolio, Communications Advisers provide expert advice and support to portfolio leaders that strengthen the University's positive public profile and outstanding reputation.

You will provide relevant, proactive and customised corporate communications advice, expert opinion and information to clients, as well as facilitate communications support from central Communications Services teams as required. Embedded in portfolios alongside marketing advisory team members, you will work to provide a seamless provision of services to clients.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for an experienced communications professional, with demonstrated experience in:

  • Public relations, journalism or business communications roles.
  • Crafting and producing high quality communications for a range of messaging purposes.
  • Providing advice and support to senior leaders and managers.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across marketing and communications functions to deliver tailored and seamless services.

You will be an articulate and engaging communicator, with a strong customer service orientation.

Further Details

We are seeking to fill three full-time positions, however welcome applications from candidates who wish to work part-time (minimum of 30 hours per week).

We offer competitive salary, five weeks' annual leave, a 6.75% superannuation scheme, and the ability to achieve real work/life balance.
