There really is nothing like the wild beauty of the South Island's West Coast. From the glaciers in the south to Punakaiki and the Heaphy Track in the north. Greymouth has easy access to them all, with its shop lined streets, the Grey River, historic architecture, cosy cafes.
We're looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join us in our mission of providing excellent client care. You’ll be a key member of the team responsible for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and education to patients across the West Coast, based in our Complex Clinical Care Network in Greymouth. You will be involved in the ongoing development of service delivery to those who would benefit from community based rehabilitation including early supported discharge or FIRST (Flexible Integrated Rehabilitation Support Team), contributing to the fracture liaison service and prevention of unnecessary admissions to Aged Residential Care and Secondary Services.
You will enjoy working in the community with a diverse adult caseload that will include orthopaedics, neurology, older person’s health and more. You will work with a high level of autonomy whilst being an integral part of a supportive Physiotherapy team, Complex Clinical Care Network Team and a key participant in community inter-disciplinary teams.
Ideally you will have experience working as a community physiotherapist and have equipment assessment accreditation. You will be well organised, with excellent case load management skills.
You will be a team player and keen to contribute to service development and community health initiatives. Your strong communication skills and client focused approach will see you build positive relationships with clients/family/whanau and a variety of agencies while supporting client’s independence and safety
