Campus Life is the Service Division that supports an engaging and inclusive campus experience for students at the University of Auckland, and currently has an opportunity for a creative Graphic Designer to join the team for one year to cover parental leave.
Working across all areas of Campus Life, from Events and Conferences, Sport and Recreation, to Student Engagement and Support, the Campus Life Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing creative design solutions with high visual impact. The role involves working within the Campus Life Communications and Marketing team to deliver design solutions for the various stakeholders within Campus Life, while respecting the University of Auckland brand guidelines.
This role demands someone with a creative flair who can demonstrate the following:
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital media and industry software
- A professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
- An excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
Our ideal candidate will have three to five years' experience working in a large multifaceted environment and knowledge of responsive digital design principles is preferred.
The ability to multi-task and work both independently as well as part of a team are key in this position, as are excellent communication skills.
