The Role: What This Opportunity's All About
The Christchurch Opioid Recovery Service located at Hillmorton Hospital, provides specialised clinical work with consumers experiencing co-existing alcohol and/or drug dependence and moderate to severe mental health needs. We are seeking a Registered Nurse, who will add value, expertise and energy to this stable and cohesive team. Our motivated and dedicated team works collaboratively with a consumer centered approach.
It is essential that you are able to work autonomously with a degree of flexibility to meet the individual needs of your clients. Previous experience in alcohol and drug or mental health, with an appropriate health professional qualification is required.

Skills & Experience
Your excellent communication skills and your ability to build successful relationships with consumers and their families/whanau, is key to your success in this role, along with:
- Current Registration with the NZNC and APC, that includes a scope of practice for Mental Health
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enjoy working as part of a team
- A clear understanding of Specialist Mental Health Service care with a commitment to quality patient care.
