Our client is looking for an experienced Principal who has a strong understanding of social investment, performance management and familiarity with parliamentary processes and the workings of legislation.

The purpose of this role is to lead the external budgeting cycle, Ministry-wide investment plans, business cases and budget initiatives.

You will have experience in implementing and leading initiatives that align with this organisation’s strategic direction. Experience in central government is essential as is a high – level understanding of the machinery of government.

You will bring highly developed strategic analysis over non-financial and financial data whilst having a proven ability to build key relationships  with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in preferably policy or finance or a chartered accountancy qualification.
