Our client is a leading multinational pharmaceutical company. In New Zealand they operate a well-established biologicals (vaccines) manufacturing facility. With a planned increase of production volumes, they are looking to appoint an experienced Process Engineer to join their team on 12 month rolling contract until 2022.
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the project team you will be responsible for the engineering and project management of the fermentation process and utilities (purified water, clean steam, glycol etc.) from the design to the execution phase and start-up of the plant.
To be successful in this role you will be experienced in working on major manufacturing projects within the pharmaceutical or dairy industries, enjoy working as part of a project team and have the drive to further develop your career.
As a suitable candidate you will preferably have the following credentials:
- An appropriate qualification in chemical process engineering or similar
- At least 5 years experience in project work within the pharmaceutical or dairy industry
- Experience within a cGMP environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to take ownership and deliver results within tight deadlines
