CANTERBURY BASED, PLANT MANAGEMENT ROLE

Platinum Recruitment are excited to be partnering once again with this client in the search for an outstanding Plant Manager for their busy plant - in the beautiful and relaxed Canterbury region.

If you have extensive management experience within the food processing industry we want to talk to you!

The Role:
You will be the lead in the management team. Will oversee the financial budgeting, provide leadership and direction for the overall success of the plant with specific commitment to H&S and respective legislation.

Proven experience in:
(preferably within the FMCG industry )

• Operational & financial responsibilities
• Client and stakeholder relationships
• Project Management
• Team leadership - man management
• Thorough understanding of process improvement strategies within a manufacturing, engineering space

Personal Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications 
Financially and commericially astute
Proven understanding of the red meat sector business 
Sound IT competencies
Professional approach to customer service and providing the best in market
