Your new company
Multi-disciplinary international consultancy, with offices across New Zealand is currently looking for an intermediate structural engineer to join their successful Christchurch office. Working on a wide range of projects, this business covers the commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors. Delivering projects that make difference, this business is progressive and ambitious. There is a definite focus on ensuring the health and wellbeing of their employees whilst also continuing to mentor and develop.
Your new role
This role will see you being involved heavily in the structural design of building structures along with liaising with the client, formalising structured reports and providing assessments. You will be working on site and in the office, liaising with a wide variety of clients, consultants, contractors and internal staff to help strengthen and build new and existing relationships whilst also ensuring the client’s objectives are successfully delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
- Have a strong background working within the NZ Structural Engineering market
- Solid knowledge and familiarity with NZ design and building codes, including seismic
- Capable in AutoCAD and Revit - Civil 3D would be an advantage
- Eligibility to currently live and work in New Zealand
