Engineering and Fabrication Business based in Dunedin
Your new company
My client is a full service engineering and fabrication business based in Dunedin with a strong network and portfolio of clients throughout New Zealand. Predominately commercial work this company is market leader involved in structural engineering and a wide range of fabrication running and managing projects from start to finish in the most ethical of practices.
Your new role
You will be responsible for welding to the highest of standards on both pipe and bridge casing which will be required to be x-rayed for quality assurance. Focus and precision will be key concentrating on the task for 6 hours at a time welding to the highest of standards. You will be welding both on site and in a factory environment and where health and safety will be paramount. You will be working days although moving forward there may be the opportunity to work 12 hours shifts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a welder with experience tickets don't necessarily need to be current although you will need to be confident welding to high standards standards on both pipe and plate. Elevated Working Platform, fall arrest, harness training, confined spaces would definitely be of interest although training can be provided if required. You will be punctual, reliable with references vouch for this and no criminal convictions.
