Our Water Northland team are recruiting 2 Water/Wastewater Treatment Operators to be based in Kaitaia and Kaikohe respectively.
Reporting in to the Operations Manager (Water Northland) you will benefit from the technical support of Treatment Managers, Quality experts and SCADA technicians to manage the group of treatment plants we support and grow in your role personally,
You will be responsible for visiting sites and plants to complete monitoring, testing, reporting and all other associated tasks as per the client's requirements in conjunction with the Water Standards of New Zealand.
To be successful in the role ideally you will have;
- National Certificate or Diploma in Water / Wastewater
- A mechanical or electrical background
- Good written and oral communications
- A hands-on, practical approach
- A flexible attitude and ability to communicate at all levels
- A valid driver’s licence
This role provides the opportunity to work flexible hours in relation to the tasks required and also has an on call rota which is currently one weekend in three.
