About our client:
Our client is a medium size Chartered Accounting practice led by a highly respected Directors in central Auckland. The practice comprises of specialist advisory services as well as accounting compliance and taxation services to a range of clients. A position has become available for a Business Advisory Senior / Manager, looking after a quality client base and a small established team. Their close knit social culture, open door policy and flat hierarchy enables you easy access to the Directors and their wealth of knowledge.
About the position:
In this role you will have the overall responsibility for the business advisory division. As they operate a flat structure, the crux of the position involves undertaking accounting for the client portfolio, preparing annual financial accounts, tax compliance, accounting systems advice, overseeing and managing the work of colleagues as well as assisting the Directors. There is also an opportunity to assist with the special services division on projects if this is an area you would be interested in gaining exposure to.

Skills and experience required:
We envision the successful candidate will currently be at a high senior or Manager level. You will have strong communication skills, enjoy being hands-on, can engage with clients and can manage jobs from start to finish. Ideally you will have experience managing workflow and reviewing.
