The Facilities Management team provides comprehensive, nationwide specialist services in the area of facilities management, building maintenance and open space management.

A Project Manager opportunity within our Engineering Services community has now become available in Wellington. Reporting to the National Projects Manager, managing projects across multiple contracted facilities. In this role you will scope, estimate, co-ordinate and deliver a range of projects covering all aspects of facility maintenance including HVAC, electrical, mechanical works. Strong project management experience will be key to the success of this role as you work collaboratively with Downer Delivery Managers, Operations Managers, Field staff and Downer Sub Contractors to ensure project delivery outcomes are met on time and within budget.

To be considered for this role you will have:

•  Solid experience in project delivery and relevant technical skills, experience and qualifications in mechanical engineering and HVAC.
• You will have proven ability in working within an engineering services or facility maintenance environment with strong prioritisation and time management skills and an ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• Naturally you will have exceptional communication ability and sound financial acumen with an ability to effectively problem solve.
