An established and successful organisation, our client is well known throughout New Zealand as a provider of a diverse range of products and services to an equally varied customer base. Their Water Division provide the complete range of services for all water and irrigation needs and they are now looking for an exceptional Service Manager to join their national team and provide outstanding service to their diverse customer base in Canterbury.

You will:

  • Manage all branch services including day to day workshop and infield operations
  • Drive high service standards and efficiencies and lead the team to meet their goals and objectives
  • Ensure strong customer relationships are maintained through regular communication, exceptional service and follow up
  • Be part of a team responsible for initiating and developing new service revenues for the branch
  • Model and lead Health & Safety practices and ensure all risks associated with the business operation are managed

What will you bring?

  • Exceptional leadership skills and at least 5 years’ site/branch management experience
  • Sound commercial nous, the ability to manage budgets and ensure branch reporting is accurate and up to date
  • The ability to lead from the front, to identify staff training needs and provide support for their personal development
  • Solid experience as a mechanical, automotive or electrical engineer with a thirst to extend your knowledge and expertise
  • A strong commitment to Health & Safety and ensuring safe work practices at all times
