The Opportunity
As a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a passion for all things Mechanical and a hands on approach to finding ingenious solutions you will excel as an integral leader of this engineering design team. This is an exciting opportunity to engage your engineering expertise in complex and technical design and build projects whilst coaching and developing a team of engineers. If you enjoy taking accountability for projects and their outcomes and delivering bespoke solutions that meet your customer's individual needs as well as leading and coaching individuals and teams then this could be the next step in your professional engineering career.
  
What will I be doing
The core focus of your role will be managing and delivering high quality results across the full scope of the project lifecycle for a broad range of bespoke industrial bulk handling systems. You will be involved from tenders/pricing to conceptual/detailed design through to engineering support for the final commissioning of solutions. You will work closely with sales engineers and with clients around the verification of requirements, ensuring design for manufacture and leading a team to deliver innovative and commercially viable solutions. There is a lots of variety in this role so you will not be short of technical challenges as well as the satisfaction of seeing your team develop and flourish through your guidance and coaching.
  
What will you bring

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 8+ years relevant engineering experience
• Exposure to bulk materials handling/industrial processing systems, agricultural processing machinery
• Strong influencing and communication skills and experience and/or desire to coach and lead an engineering/design team
• Experienced in the delivery of bespoke design/build projects from conception through to commissioning
• A skilled user of Inventor /AutoCAD
