This unique opportunity to work directly for the client exists within an in-house construction management team at a development company. This organisation develops, designs and builds multi-use construction projects across the country. With projects ranging from $100M - $400M in value now is a great time to join this established team of Quantity Surveyors.

You will be a site based Quantity Surveyor based in Christchurch on a new development project. You will report into a senior regional Quantity Surveyor based in Wellington but will have full autonomy as the project QS lead. Given the support structure in place however we are looking for an intermediate level QS - therefore this is a great opportunity for someone to deliver a big project independently.

You will need to ideally have previous main contractor experience in the commercial construction sector delivering projects of at least $10M in value. You will also need to have a relevant QS degree or diploma and be based fulltime in Canterbury.

The project is a large scale, high end multi use facility with elements of civils, commercial and residential starting with a greenfield site.

You will be rewarded with a salary package of $100K - $120K plus medical insurance, staff share scheme, long service leave, staff discounts through suppliers, relevant professional fees and funeral cover.
