My client in East Tamaki is looking for a contract H&S Advisor to help drive the delivery of the health & safety, quality, environment and stakeholder practices across field teams.

This is the ideal role for a H&S Advisor with 2-4 years experience in the NZ market in a H&S role. 

You will have had exposure to the construction, maintenance, utilities or roading industries.

This is a 2-3 month contract and you will be responsible for helping the JV team to deliver a sustainable network whilst keeping people safe, ensuring quality and environmental standards are adhered to, and that Client expectations on customer interaction are met.  

• Ensure that all staff and subcontractors to the contract are inducted and are compliant with full PPE. 
• Requesting and checking all subcontractors Health and Safety and Quality documentation prior to starting.
• Ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date and compliant at all times and maintaining the main excel spreadsheet of data.
• Auditing of sites (internal and external), implementing any measures to correct issues and addressing with management if required.
• Carrying out investigations into any accidents or incidents, tracing accountability, finding causes and implementing any recommendations and reporting findings.
• Managing any injuries or staff issues that arise from incidents.
