Franklin Smith are working with one of Auckland’s leading main contractors. Despite working on some of Auckland’s finest project, this business has maintained a close-knit family feel and have some of the best staff retention in the game.
Projects cover commercial, apartments, distribution, warehouses and schools and range up to $50mil in value.
They have a vacancy for an Assistant Project Manager. You will be working alongside one of their most senior project managers with structured development allowing a route into full-time project management.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring the project is delivered in a timely manner
- A high level of programming
- Quality management
- Overseeing the site based team
- Setting and maintaining an efficient strategy
- Liaising with clients and consultants
- Developing and building relationships
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety
To be successful in your application, a tertiary qualification or a trade background is preferred. Candidates with experience in commercial construction at management level in New Zealand are preferred.
