An experienced Site Manager is required for this well established and successful Auckland contractor. The salary on offer is in the region of $90-110k with a vehicle and other benefits. The company has a strong forward workload and good prospects for the right people. Those in a foreman or supervisor position are encouraged to apply.
The position is to take full responsibility for all site activities and reporting to the project manager. You will be ensuring works are programmed to be delivered on time, controlling trades on-site and ensuring the scope of works is satisfied.
You will have strong understanding and/or experience in:
- Site Management on projects in NZ
- Onsite Labour Management
- Health and Safety Supervision
- Quality Assurance: reading and understanding specifications of designed building components, completing quality assurance records
- An understanding and appreciation of the PM and QS elements of a project – knowing that these guys run the project, and that you run the site
- You will have a trade qualification and come from a trades background
This role would be a good fit for a candidate who has extensive experience of working on commercial construction projects as a Site Manager, Foreman or Supervisor in Auckland, or anywhere else in NZ. Applicants must have a strong personality, equipped to confidently represent your employer across multiple construction projects
