Our client is a well-established successful Advertising Agency with a clear point of difference that has been instrumental in its access to and long-term relationships with some very well known brands.
The owner is looking for a strong capable leader as Business Director/General Manager who will have overall responsibility for new business development and for day-to-day management of the agency. Over time this person will invest in the business and acquire equity. This person could come from an Agency background or may be a senior marketer in a corporate business who understands what makes a strong agency stand out from the pack.
In this position you will provide strong leadership and strategic direction and in addition provide perspective and input in the development of the highest possible level of professional performance across all agency disciplines.
You will be expected to be able to demonstrate :
Strong leadership and management – Show passion in your leadership and motivate the team to continue to deliver outstanding results.
Business development skills – Through your own networks, targeted calling and advertising, find new customers and deliver convincing pitches.
Strategic planning ability – Work with the MD and Department Heads to establish a clear direction for the business, along with measurable goals.
Staff Management – Oversee the human resource planning and development process and ensure high standards and compliance.
Monitoring and Control - Ensure product and service quality is kept high and maintain strong disciplines in financial oversight.
