OSPRI is a partnership between primary industries and government that has a focus on the sustainability, competitiveness and profitability of New Zealand’s primary industries. It manages two national programmes - NAIT and TBfree. NAIT provides the national animal identification and traceability system and TBfree aims to eradicate bovine TB from New Zealand.
 
We are seeking a proven leader to take OSPRI to the next stage in its development. Your focus will be on ensuring a culture of performance, success and innovation is in place to underpin continuous improvement to the services OSPRI provides to the primary sector, as well as capitalising on opportunities to add value to the primary sector.
 
As well as strategic leadership experience, you’ll have a reputation for exceptional relationship skills, building high-performing teams and delivering on the expectations of a diverse range of stakeholders. Although not a pre-requisite, a knowledge of the primary sector would be a useful asset to have.
