Our client, accessable is a passionate, caring company that touches many parts of the health and disability community. Their main role is to manage government contracts to provide disability equipment and modifications.  They are a thriving, vibrant organisation filled with energetic, client focused people who make a difference to the lives of those impacted by short or long term health issues and disability.

In this new role, reporting to the Chief Executive, you will drive, promote and co-ordinate business improvement that influences people and processes delivering efficiencies and benefits to internal and external customers across the business.  Working closely with and as part of the Senior Management Team, you will identify and deliver best practice continuous improvement initiatives; manage the business process mapping software (Promapp); and contribute to the implementation of lean methodology within the business. 

You will be comfortable leading change management projects as well as rolling up your sleeves and diving in to ensure deliverables are achieved.  This role includes being an active member of the tender team; identifying opportunities for tendering; support with tender documentation; and constantly looking up and out for new opportunities to extend service provision. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in business or management;
  • Solid business and project management experience;
  • Be known for your commercial acumen, understanding of the numbers and change management experience;
  • Leadership experience of teams and projects; with the ability to get people all facing the same direction and on the same page;
  • Exceptional planning and organising skills to utilise resources effectively;
  • Effective relationship management skills for internal and external customers and stakeholders;
  • An ability to make effective decisions using sound analytical skills;
  • Some exposure to lean methodologies and an eye for creating efficiencies;
  • Sounds knowledge of quality management systems;
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written;
  • High level of computer literacy;
  • A strong cultural awareness and a sense of inclusiveness
