Position summary
The Chief Executive / Kaihautu leads Volunteering New Zealand’s (VNZ’s) work in promoting, supporting and advocating for volunteering in New Zealand Aotearoa.
The Chief Executive / Kaihautu builds and maintains key relationships with a range of stakeholders, including government and funding partners to ensure the organisation delivers on its strategic plan. The position holder reports to the VNZ Board on the development, implementation and review of VNZ's operational plans.
As Chief Executive / Kaihautu, you will be the face of VNZ with external stakeholders, representing the organisation on external advisory groups and attending events to promote the VNZ kaupapa.
