This is a newly-created role and a rare and exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of New Zealand’s premier ski resorts (Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt). This role reports directly to the CEO and leads our Guest Services and Snowsports departments.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the beautiful location and outdoor adventure playground of Queenstown; travel to Methven will also be required from time to time to catch up with the team there.

About you

You will have extensive experience in leading customer-facing teams in complex organisations and, ideally, experience in the snowsports and tourism industries.  You will be able to demonstrate how you’ve implemented improvement in end-to-end customer processes through managing change in people, process and systems.  You will have the ability to build and maintain awesome relationships with key stakeholders in the snowsports industry. Ideally you will already have strong industry contacts to allow you to remain informed of future industry trends.

A collaborative work ethic is crucial to the success of this role; you will need to work closely with our GM Marketing and the Ski Area Managers to ensure all departments are delivering seamless service for our guests.

You will be commercially savvy to support business growth opportunities and implement initiatives that enhance our customer experience and loyalty.
