We’re looking for a special someone to take the lead as Complex Manager for our BestStart ECE centre in Whanganui. This beautiful, modern and spacious centre welcomes children from birth to 5 years and their families.
  
This role will focus on:

• Centre performance, including; financial performance, team leadership, staff management, family/whānau/parent relationships and administration.
• Providing effective leadership, encouraging and supporting all staff to achieve the set objectives, goals and behaviours necessary for centre success.

As Complex Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the centre operates as a high-performing centre based on quality and genuine interactions between staff, children and family.  You’ll need to be a real people-person, with experience of building and maintaining strong team, community and parent relations.

The successful applicant will also need:  

• At least 3-years experience in a leadership position
• Ideally some exposure to working in an ECE environment
• Proven experience in delivering financial results
• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Sound computer skills with Microsoft Office 
• Confidence and expertise to promote BestStart to the local community
