A very rare and exciting opportunity has come up with one of the top Chemicals Companies in New Zealand, that has the ability to supply an exhaustive range of chemical products, for the widest range of applications.

They are a company that is recognised as experts in their industry and boast a great reputation built on a quality and service and customer satisfaction.

On their behalf we are searching for an experienced Chemical Sales professional to join their Auckland based team.

The Role:

  • Managing the sale of Chemicals across a range of industries,
  • Building existing relationships with a variety of decision makers from within manufacturing markets.
  • Being proactive in both Account Management and new business activities
  • Manage a sales pipeline and determine customers current and future requirements
  • Put together quotes applying pricing with appropriate margin calculations
  • Managing their demand and ensuring excellent customer service through relationship management.
  • Develop an understanding of a customer’s business and identify how their needs can be met
  • Develop a reputation for reliability in all aspects of customer interface

You :

  • Knowledge and Sales experience in the chemicals industry
  • Ability to maintain and add value to an existing client base, providing a very high level of client servicing
  • Ability to drive new business opportunities, by picking up the phone and finding out what new clients need
  • Credible… and confident to have conversations around chemicals and their applications
  • An inquiring mind, investigative approach and ability to think outside the square
  • Technically confident in tailoring the best solutions for a client’s needs
  • Motivated and career minded to desire learning and growing in their career
  • A relevant Tertiary qualification is desired
  • A self-starter, well organized, energetic and driven to make things happen
