Client Details
Our client is a small but growing NZ business whose product is sold through plumbing merchants, architects and builders across NZ. With them growing rapidly in the market and the pipeline looking strong, they are seeking a National Business Development Manager as they look to grow their business and take on new and exciting projects.
Description
Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, your responsibilities will be to:
- Close existing pipeline opportunities
- Market map to identify new business through a variety of channels
- Prospect and qualify leads that will eventuate in the generation of new business relationships.
- Present to decision makers and clearly communicate how you can add value to their businesses.
- Develop relationships and utilise your existing industry relationships to up sell solutions that result in recurring business.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have the below skills:
- Proven business development experience in the plumbing or building materials industry
- Has worked with architects, builders, group home builders and other key stakeholders with proven success
- Experience working autonomously and managing territories
- Can communicate with senior level stakeholders and present features and benefits effectively
- A people person who enjoys working in a team environment and being part of a great culture
