We are looking for a Head of Sales to plan, implement and grow IT Services revenue in order to meet profitability, new business and retention targets. Reporting directly to the GM – you’ll manage a team of 9 direct reports across sales and pre-sales nationally. This team focuses on selling fully managed services, cloud solutions, IWB, and unified communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to ITS strategy and policies
  • Grow and mentor team to achieve annual sales targets
  • Define key deliverables, metrics and targets for the team
  • Financial management through setting of annual revenue and gross profit budgets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure an outstanding reputation 
  • Manage internal systems including sales reporting system, communicating periodic sales results and forecasts to senior management and peers

Experience:

  • Strong people manager with demonstrated team management skills
  • Experience contributing to and implementing sales strategies (preferably at a national level)
  • Solid understanding of IT Services or closely correlated industry
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally
  • Proven experience in a business to business sales management role
  • Understanding of the market with some existing market / industry / customer relationships advantageous
