We are looking for a Head of Sales to plan, implement and grow IT Services revenue in order to meet profitability, new business and retention targets. Reporting directly to the GM – you’ll manage a team of 9 direct reports across sales and pre-sales nationally. This team focuses on selling fully managed services, cloud solutions, IWB, and unified communications.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to ITS strategy and policies
- Grow and mentor team to achieve annual sales targets
- Define key deliverables, metrics and targets for the team
- Financial management through setting of annual revenue and gross profit budgets
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure an outstanding reputation
- Manage internal systems including sales reporting system, communicating periodic sales results and forecasts to senior management and peers
Experience:
- Strong people manager with demonstrated team management skills
- Experience contributing to and implementing sales strategies (preferably at a national level)
- Solid understanding of IT Services or closely correlated industry
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally
- Proven experience in a business to business sales management role
- Understanding of the market with some existing market / industry / customer relationships advantageous
