A&NZ Route Development Manager
We currently have an opportunity for a highly experienced Route/Business Development Manager to join our Air and Ocean team. The role is Auckland based and will focus on the development of trade lane sales to and from Australia/New Zealand and will also focus on driving new business. Your remit will be to identify and close new business aligned to CEVA's value proposition.
To be successful you will be highly competitive and results driven. You will work externally and internally to achieve your sales target whilst following the company's new business sales process. A rewarding career and market competitive salary awaits the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities;
- Work closely with local, regional and global building trade lane strategies
- Work collaboratively with the business development teams to maximise margins, increase revenue growth and support BD by joining face to face client meetings or conference calls
- Commercial negotiation preparation and execution
- Product development, knowledge and understanding
- Work with the Product team and sales, overseas partners and marketing.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience;
- The ability to persuade and convince to achieve an outcome
- Strong knowledge of warehousing and international freight
- Minimum 5 years experience with a multi national logistics company
- Strategic cross functional thinker.
- Good knowledge of analytical tools, inclusive of MS office suite.
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial & Financial acumen
- Ability to travel
