About our team
The team at Cryer Malt take pride in standing shoulder to shoulder with the brewers who are at the forefront of the modern craft beer movement in Australasia. Having supplied specialty malts from Barrett Burston Malting to craft brewers over the past two decades, we are now excited to be a part of Barrett Burston Malting. Cryer will continue to source the finest malted barley and adjuncts from around the globe to support our customers and their dedication to pushing the boundaries in crafting excellent beer.

About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Customer Care & Operations Support Coordinator will provide outstanding sales and service support to Cryer Malt customers, and specifically will:
  • Process sales orders for NZ and AUS customers in MYOB
  • Place orders on Cryer warehouses for release and delivery to agreed timeframes
  • Organise direct delivery orders via partner suppliers
  • Attend and respond to customer telephone enquiries, orders and issues and timely follow-up
  • Arrange credits, adjustments and raise and manage cases in our CRM, MS Dynamics.


About your experience
First and foremost, we’re after someone who is passionate about delivering an efficient, consistent first-class service to our customers - they are the reason we continue to grow and feed the growing craft beer movement! You should be able to demonstrate outstanding time management, organisation and communication skills as these will be critical to your success.

Many of the processes in this role can be repetitive and we encourage you to consider whether this is the type of work that you would enjoy before submitting an application. Nevertheless, as we continue to grow and evolve, your interest in continuous improvement ideas that give us an edge in our service will be welcome

Finally, although not essential, we would welcome your experience in an FMCG environment and/or exposure to working in a CRM or with MYOB.
