An opportunity has arisen for a logical, organised and enthusiastic internal sales person to join this friendly team in Christchurch to assist with internal sales, along with warehouse functions.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be part of a small but busy team and will be responsible for the efficient running of the warehouse and internal sales functions of the company.
This role will involve:
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders
- General warehousing and housekeeping
- Taking incoming sales calls and counter sales
- Quoting inhouse manufacturing
- Receiving goods
- Computer data entry of fulfilments, inventory control
- General warehouse cleaning/maintenance
- Coordinating with the Branch Manager and Team Leader to ensure goods are dispatched in a timely and efficient manner
The successful candidate should have:
- The ability to work autonomously
- Competent computer skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- Good communication skills
- Awareness for the best safety and environmental practices
