Matrix Security Group Ltd is a leading supplier of residential and commercial security systems throughout New Zealand. Our professional operations run 24/7 and we have a reputation for delivering on our promises – both to our clients as well as to our staff.

This role is pivotal to providing support and accurate advice and information to customers and colleagues. Working in the security industry, you will find that no two days are the same.  Our Customer Services team support several other departments, providing a variety of challenges.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organising service technicians and troubleshooting technical problems
  • Assisting with the contact centre
  • Administrative support for multiple internal departments
  • Maintaining & improving company procedures
  • Updating customer databases
  • Responding to account enquiries
  • Processing inbound emails and follow up calls

Our idea applicants will have:

  • A minimum of 3yrs of Customer Service Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership and follow through until the process is completed
  • Drive and determination to ensure desired outcomes are reached
  • Confidence in contributing ideas and improving systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good computer knowledge – using Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts - including Saturdays
  • Preference will be given to applicants with - experience using Patriot, a current Certificate of Approval and/or Contact Centre experience
