Breadcraft is a privately owned family business, based in the Wairarapa that has been in the same family for over 75 years.  We manufacture a wide range of baked food products from our large manufacturing facility in Masterton.  We are a local success story that makes a meaningful contribution to our wider community and has a strong focus on people and adding value.

With a team of over 100 and plans to significantly grow the business, we need you to join us and lead the development of our HR strategy and policies that will enable that growth.

From health and safety to legislative requirements and everything in between you tick all the boxes when it comes to delivering HR advice and support.  But where you stand out is your understanding that HR is so much more than ticking boxes.

As key player in the Executive team, you are collaborative and confident.  You’ll love being the go to guru on all HR conversations, assisting with every aspect of the employment life cycle of our team.  You are commercial, and you understand both the metrics and the person.  You have that wonderful balance between what is best for business and what the individual needs.  You’re unflappable, approachable, sensible and strategic.

You have a solid background in an HR role (at least 5 -10 years), so you inherently get the key ingredients that make HR invaluable to any business. You have played a key role in organisational change and you have a solid understanding and knowledge of NZ employment law and HR best practice.

Discreet, empathetic, pragmatic and savvy, this role has you written all over it.
