In this newly created, specialist Health & Safety advisory role, your primary focus will be to produce a range of quality health and safety guidance materials. These will be used by a large front-line workforce who operate in a high risk environment.

You will work closely with other members of the health and safety team and in collaboration with front-line staff, to ensure the materials are accessible and fit-for-purpose. 

You will have the opportunity to get out and see your health and safety guidance in action, enabling you to influence the adoption of new ways of operating and identify areas for improvement.

The key requirements for this role include:

• Sound understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
• Experience developing materials to aid compliance to the Act
• Research and analysis skills
• Experience writing operational policy with a focus on using plain English
• Experience creating training materials and delivering training
