Reporting to our HR Manager, you will join a busy team that ensures we obtain the right talent, develop our people, manage employee performance, and build a positive organisational culture. You will build and use your relationships with people right across the business to ensure our leadership are focused on their people, and our staff are engaged to deliver our work and our strategy. This role is largely focused on OD work, but will also provide support to HR Manager, so will be varied and busy.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensuring effective learning and development opportunities are provided to staff and leadership
  • Delivering key projects within the HR Strategy
  • Ensuring a framework of performance is in place and utilised
  • Facilitating engagement surveys and supporting leadership to implement initiatives to improve culture
  • Supporting the HR Manager in operational HR work such as recruitment and selection and employment relations issues

Your previous experience will include:

  • work at HR Advisor level with proven experience to initiate and lead projects
  • experience in building people leadership capability in others
  • working for a large organisation with complex HR issues.

This role would also suit someone who has both operational HR background, with some organisation development experience, who is able to independently lead their own projects.

Recruitment and selection timeline

Due to leave commitments we have a fixed time period for interviews and selection. We will be advertising this role until 20 July and then shortlisting for interviews. These will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of August so if you are applying for this role, please do so with that in mind.
