The role

The purpose of the role is to provide the ready-responder service to Transport Agency employees on day to day HR matters. This role will provide advice, guidance and tailored solutions to people leaders while establishing proactive and agile partnering relationships between the business and the People group.

You will have several years experience in a similar role and be able to hit the ground running to provide HR advice to employees and managers across the business. You'll bring a proactive and collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement. You'll use your technical expertise across a range of HR areas including performance management, change management, mediation, employment changes and HR policies and procedures to provide high quality and timely guidance and support.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • At least 2-3 years experience in a HR Advisor role
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the provision of HR advice in all areas including performance management, change management, recruitment, conflict resolution and the application of employment law in the workplace
  • A qualification in an HR related discipline is desirable but not essential, or comparable experience
