Grab this rare opportunity to be a senior contributor to New Zealand’s fastest-growing news website.
Newshub.co.nz has an opening for a Rural Content editor with at least five years’ experience in fast-paced news environments. The is a new role, combining reporting, interviewing, writing, digital production, social and video, with plenty of scope to develop original ideas.
You’ll be well versed in all things Rural, and work closely with our Rural Exchange radio show team as well as the rest of the digital team in delivering stories that our Rural audience care about.
To excel in this role you need experience in digital media and a strong understanding of the Rural sector.
Some exposure to commercial aspects of digital media is desirable.
You’ll also need word-perfect subbing skills and an understanding of media law relating to fair dealing of video.
