The Vendor coordinator supports our Vendor Support and Services Manager with hardware and software procurement and license management including project coordination. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow from an experienced leader. 

Key Duties 

  • Procurement of hardware and software
  • Ordering and coordination of 3rd party services (i.e. WAN, Internet, Broadband etc.).
  • Assignment of project tasks in the service delivery system (Jira).
  • Management of vendors and software licenses using internal workflow management system (Laserfische)
  • Escalation and communication of procurement issues and changes affecting the project.
  • Work with IT Operations to maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Coordinate demonstrations and meetings and vendors.  

 

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and external organisations
  • Proficiency at follow-up emails, calls and face to face interactions.Attention to detail
  • Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude with ability to respond with urgency if necessary
  • Vendor/Procurement experience would be beneficial
